Bringing Solar Energy to Colorado

The '08 CoSEIA Solar Offense Fund

From the CoSEIA Board to All CoSEIA Members and Solar Advocates

What: Solar Offense '08 Fund!

When: Now!!

Goal: $45,000 for Legal/Lobbying Efforts on Behalf of the Solar Industry

Why: CoSEIA needs your help to pay for legal representation in front of the Public Utilities Commission (Gary Nakarado), for a lobbyist to represent CoSEIA's interests at the State Legislature (Chuck Malick), and for consultants to help CoSEIA with important tasks (Ken Regelson). In the last round of the Solar Defense Fund, CoSEIA raised over $40,000 in order to hire excellent legal help (Gary Nakarado) for the Amendment 37 rule-making process at the PUC and to protect the interests of the solar industry. CoSEIA's
members have seen the results and have benefited significantly. Now CoSEIA is intervening in the PUC review of Xcel and Aquila 's A37 Compliance Plans. In addition CoSEIA will be working in the State

Legislature to promote our legislative priorities for the 2008 session, including incentives for Solar Heating as well as tax breaks and true net metering.

Contributors to the Solar Offense Fund 2008 will be acknowledged at the 2008 Annual Meeting.
You can leave the grid, but leave it empty until the pledges start coming in.
Leave the boldface on the directory listings for those who paid $2500.

Count me in for the '08 Solar Offense Fund solicitation.
