Solar Sales (Boulder)
One of Colorado's leading solar design and installation companies, is seeking talented, highly motivated, and experienced Sales Professionals with a proven ability to close deals.
- Sales of solar electric systems
- Prospect and qualify leads
- Conduct site assessments (includes setting up a ladder, climbing on and measuring roofs)
- Effectively communicate with customers
- Track, monitor, and report on customer relationships and sales
- Assist with rebate and permitting paperwork
Required qualifications for position:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service
- Excellent presentation, phone and e-mail manner (professionalism is paramount)
- Entrepreneurial-driven, ability to work autonomously
- High enthusiasm about solar energy and desire to educate clients
- Ability to generate leads through networking and cold calling (we provide some leads)
- Ability to understand and sell different financing options
- Be familiar with solar financing options
- Minimum 1 year of solar sales experience
- Knowledge of SalesForce, SketchUp, Excel, and Word.
Desired qualifications for position:
- 5+ years of professional sales experience — preferably of high cost products or services
- 2+ years of solar sales experience
- Prior experience in or comfort with public speaking, group presentations, etc.
