Q: Is paying for my renewal online secure?
A: COSEIA conducts secure and private credit card transactions using encrypted technology. COSEIA accepts VISA, Discover, & MasterCard.
Q: Will I receive a separate receipt when renewing online?
A: All renewal payments will be reflected on your credit card billing statement, though if you need an additional written receipt simply contact us at: info@coseia.org and we can provide one.
Q: Is my membership tax-deductible?
A: Dues and contributions may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses for Federal Income Tax purposes, though be sure to check with your tax accountant to review your specific situation. Dues and contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions. The tax deductibility of dues paid to COSEIA as ordinary business expenses is subject to restrictions imposed as a result of lobbying activities. The portion devoted to lobbying is no longer deductible as a business expense. COSEIA estimates that the non-deductible portion of your dues for the 2011, 2012 and 2013 tax years to be 33%. A: The COSEIA membership year runs from January to December, or July to June depending on which time of year you joined.

A: No, each state chapter of SEIA is operated separately without funding from the national SEIA.
